PAC minutes from 11/1 Meeting

 

1. Money Collected

• Team Fee: $200 payable to Mayo Girls Hockey

• Apparel Cost: $ 100.50 for both hoodie and bottoms. Parent hoodie is $46 each

        Payable to Mayo Girls Hockey

• Pre Season Gathering: $10 per family

• Pictures: Order forms were handed out: $15 CD and/or $15 12x18 poster

        Payable to Kim Meillier

• Bauer Jackets: $60 each - need 6 orders to be placed before we can get them

 

     2. AWAY GAME MEALS: Jimmy John’s sandwich orders for away games. Go to www.jimmyjohns.com , set up an account. Place your order and pay online. When ordering please include MAYO GIRLS HOCKEY with your daughters name. Mary will send out a reminder the week of our away games and include what time to select for pickup with your order. The orders will be picked up and delivered to the bus on time.

 

      3.  Pictures

    Kim Meillier will be doing individual, team and banner photos Nov 2nd and 3rd. November 2nd @330 in locker room. November 3rd @330 @ Foundation House, 701 4th St SW for Banner Photo. Order form and payment $15 for CD and $15 for banner. Written out to Kim Meillier. Girls are to wear dark jeans, jersey and tan boots for BANNER photo

 

4.  SCHWAN CUP TOURNAMENT- Dec 26-28

5. FUNDRAISERS COMING UP/CURRENTLY GOING:

1. Giving Bean coffee sales Nov 16-30th. www.givingbean.com . Contact Brenda Holmen with any questions and to get order forms. We get 40% back

2. December 12th CHIPOTLE FUNDRAISER 5p-9p @ the Ear of Corn location( Crossroads Shopping Center) The team gets 50 % of the sales from the night. Flyer needed, will be on facebook and Mary will be sending out closer to date. Please help and get the word out and share!

3. Sunglasses: $10 a piece . We get $5 from each sales. Contact Brenda Holmen to get some to sell

4. Kwik Trip Cards: Contact Cindy Fjelsted to purchase.. She does send out emails when she is ordering them so watch for those emails too. This is not a requirement this year but it is a expectaation to continue to try and sell throughout the season and all year long to support the team

•  $36 car wash cards, we get $16 back from sales

• Gift cards: any amount : We receive 5% on gas purchases and 10% back on in store purchases.

     5.   Cowboy Jacks Gift Cards- Contact Mary Johnson to purchase. THIS WILL BE OUR DESIGNATED MEETING SPOT BEFORE OUR HOME GAMES. Cowboy Jack’s have given us a $100 donation for selling $500 worth of gift cards.

 6. PAST FUNDRAISING/EVENTS

• Road Cleanup was done Oct 30th. The team has adopted a section of road they are responsible to cleanup in spring and fall. It is 18th Ave from Mayowood Rd to 40th St SW.

• Two Nights at Pizza Ranch

• Fright on the farm

• Hawkers Concession night was done at the football game in September

• November 17th- Shannon O’Hara Night--- Grafstrom will present a check to foundation and speak

• Dec 3rd Bell Ringing 5p-6pm at Wehrenberg

• January 26th Senior recognition, pizza and cake following the game up in Graham 4( SIGN UP GENIUS)

• February 28th, End of season banquet 530-8, Mayo HS Cafeteria. Potluck, more info to follow  (SIGN UP GENIUS)

• Pasta Feeds: Nov 16, Dec 7, Jan 4 and Feb 7th( SIGN UP GENIUS) Need host families and 2 other families to help and bring food

• 50/50 Drawings:( SIGN UP GENIUS) Sell ticket for 2 periods and give out the prize

 

8. Website/Pictures

    Briana Pothoof will be working with Mac to keep webpage up to date and will be taking photos at the games too. You will receive a email after almost every game to a link to the evenings photos and if you want to take a photo from folder they are sharable.
