What a great morning! It was fantastic!

I hope you all have fun at the pasta feed/sleepover tonight. We had a conversation about good manners at team meeting the other day, so I assume those things will be in place.

There are lots of things going on in the next two weeks:

  1. Saturday, August 26, is an action packed day. There is no yoga or swim practice this day.  Here is the schedule:

  • Healthy Human Race - we run a water station for the Healthy Human Race in Bear Creek park across the bridge from Mayo High School. We set up at 6:00 am and cheer runners on until 9:00 am ish. This is not mandatory, but it is super fun! More details later this week.

  • Surprise Bonding activity

    - this is mandatory and starts at 9:30 am in the field by the football concession stand.

  • Car wash - this is our only fundraiser. We will have it at Mayo High School from 11-3. Car washes will be $10/ wash. This is mandatory and will be in two shifts: 11-1, and 1-3.

If you are in town, you are expected to do one of the shifts.

We will need lots of help and material, especially soap. More details to come.

  1. On August 29, we will have practice at Century High School from 4-6 pm. This is the only time we can have practice there. Since all of our meets are there, I think this is a worthy thing to do. Please let me know if your daughter needs a ride.

  1. On August 31st, we have our first dual meet. The bus will leave from door 6 at 4:00. DO NOT BE LATE. Make sure you bring your suit, googles, cap,  drinks, snacks, comfy clothes.  We order from Jimmy Johns for the ride there, more details on that to come. On the way there, I would like the girls to sit with their sister swimmer. On the way back, I would like them to sit with someone else. The meet starts at 6:30 pm at Albert Lea High School. More details to come.

  1. There will be practice over Labor Day weekend at the same times. If you are going away, have fun and let me know.

  1. In years past, a parent has handled parent t-shirts. If anyone wants to handle that, please let me know.

  1. Please check in with your daughter that she is eating enough, before practice and meets.  Please do not assume they are.
