Rochester Mayo High School Athletics

Hello everyone!!

I think this week we will have everyone present. I look forward to seeing you all!!!

Thank you to Neha Raukar, Candance Bookwater, and of course Scott for handling everything this weekend in my absence. I am so grateful to you, and all of the team for being so amazing. I am so proud. 

Thank you also to all of you that sent me kind thoughts as we dropped off our youngest at college. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness :)

This week we have some things going on:

Monday: we have regular practice. Varsity at 3:45, JV at 5:15 pm. The team meeting will be a long one today. 

Tuesday: regular practice JV at 3:45, Varsity at 5:15

Wednesday: Home meet at Century High School against Albert Lea. Swimmers need to be there at 4:15  to set up. We will talk about it at the team meeting. 

More details:

• Wear a black or green suit, and bring your Mayo cap and goggles
• Wear a Mayo swim and dive shirt
• Bring snacks and drinks
• The meet will start at 6:30pm. We will end near 9pm; it’s hard to say
• You can get tickets on the HomeTown app and watch the live stream here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yC7m6FNcBsBut PLEASE, come watch, we love to see you in the stands
• We still need announcer. Please consider trying it. 
• I would not like the swimmers in the stands during the meet. Please help me with this. 
• I would like swimmers to stay until the end of the meet. They should only leave early if there is an extenuating circumstance.

Thursday – regular practice JV at 3:45, Varsity at 5:15

Friday – combined practice from 3:45-5:15

Saturday – 

• Yoga at 8:45 SHARP, swimming until 11:30am
• Puppy Yoga at 4:30 at Paws and Claws. This is an event for all three Rochester teams. It requires a $20 donation. If you want to go and cannot swing it, let me know. Bring a yoga mat and be prepared to get dirty. If your daughter wants to go, please sign up on the whiteboard, or, divers, let me know, ASAP.
