Coaches/Contact Information

Coach Carpenter was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Rochester with his wife after graduating from college (Lancaster, PA) in 2009.  Coach Carpenter has three children: Jordyn (age 11), Chance (age 9), and Tyetan (age 7).  He is also a physical education teacher in the district at Lincoln K-8 School.  Coach Carpenter has been coaching high school girls basketball in Rochester since 2009.  Before moving over to Mayo as the head coach he was an assistant at Century from 2009-2014 and at Lourdes from 2014-2018.    

Coach Strain was born and raised in Rochester and has been teaching and coaching in the district for over 25 years.  He is currently the PE teacher at Bishop elementary school, and is also the Assistant Varsity Softball coach here at Mayo.  Coach Strain is married to Rachel, a Kindergarten teacher in Rochester, and has a 8 year old daughter, Landree.
