May Girls Swim & Dive Photos September 23, 2024

d paulson Photography will be doing our team photos again this year and it will be online with the same ordering process as last year.  You will be able to view the photos before ordering and order at your convenience online or on your phone.  In addition, photos will be delivered directly to your home.  

THE FIRST THING THAT YOU NEED TO DO IS TEXT THE CODE SWIMDIVE2024 to 90738.  You will then get a text notification when the photos are uploaded to the gallery and ready to view and purchase

Attached below are:

  • Team Photo flier/Web access - this includes the team code to text, a link to the gallery website, and a discount code to get free shipping on orders $35 or more.
  • PDF showing step-by-step how to order using PhotoDay

Photos will be available for ordering through May 31, 2025

True Team Information

Hello! Below is information about the True Team meet. Good luck to our divers on Friday!!

Bus for swimmers: Leaves at 9:00 am from Door 6. There is no practice for anyone not going. 

Tickets: Here is the ticket link for True Team to share with your team. Tickets will go on sale on October 9th at 8 am. Tickets can also be purchased at the door using credit card or cash.

Concessions: Concessions will be on site. We will provide food and snacks for the coaches and officials room.

 

Apparel: We will have Northwest designs on site to purchase True Team apparel.  They will not be there for diving.  They will be there Saturday, October 12th for swimming only.  

Livestream: We will not be live streaming diving. The swimming on Saturday, October 12th will be live streamed.

Hello everyone!! It was a great spirit week, and now we get back to regular life! Here is the schedule for next week:

 

Monday - regular practice

Tuesday - regular practice

Wednesday  - regular practice

Thursday - home meet against Austin. 

  • Swimmers are to be there at 4:30 to help set up. 
  • We will quickly recognize the seniors after the diving. 
  • Parents/guardians of seniors, if you can be there, please do. 

Friday - practice until 5:15 pm, True Team diving at Century. Divers, talk to Greg about your schedule. 

Saturday - True Team swimming. The following swimmers are going. The bus leaves at 9:00 and the meet starts at 12:00 pm at Schroeder Aquatic Center in Lakeville. 

For the rest, practice is cancelled. I hate to do this, but it is just too complicated otherwise. :(

Sunday - Senior Night at 2pm at the Koepp house. Families of seniors and all the team are invited. Seniors, make your boards, please. I am going to bring custom cupcakes; if you would like to bring another dessert or snack, please do.

Next week is also pretty light, but the weeks after that are action packed, so I'll cover some major dates coming up as well. 

 

Monday - normal practice

Tuesday - normal practice then pasta feed at the Hausers

 - the address is 1208 Greystone Ln SW.They have a pool so if you want to swim, bring or wear your suit. Also, please bring a dessert if you can.

Wednesday - normal practice

Thursday - meet at Century at 6:00. Girls are to be there at 4:30 to set up the meet. It should be exciting!!

 - we dress up at school for home meets and wear Mayo gear to meets

Friday - practice until 5:15 pm

Saturday - yoga at 8:45, swimming until 11:30 am

 

Other notable dates coming up:

Monday, September 23 - picture day for swimmers and divers. Please be ready to go at 4 pm. Wear your team suit; everyone should have them by then according to Elsmore. To order pictures, go to our website for directions: https://www.mayospartans.org/page/show/6458330-girls-swim-dive-2024-

There will be no swim practice that day.

 

Tuesday, September 24 - Food 4 Kids for Jeremiah Program. I need 10-15 girls to help with this, including one or two adults. Last year we did tacos and stuff and that worked out well. If you are interested, please email me ASAP. You will miss practice that day. 

 

Saturday, September 29 - Maroon and Gold meet. I can take 3 individual swimmers in each event and 3 relays. I will put out the line up after the Century meet. It takes place at the University of Minnesota at 2:30 pm.

 

September 30- October 5 - Spirit week.

Monday - fun

Tuesday - fun

Wednesday will be our Green and Gold intramural meet

Thursday - away meet 

Friday we will walk in the parade - if anyone has a boat, a truck to pull it and is willing to drive it in the parade, please let me know.

Saturday will be game day - times TBA. 

*If you are a club swimmer, PLEASE go to morning practice this week. 

 

October 13 - Senior Night at the Koepp house
