SPARTAN GAMES: THE WEEK OF 8/28/17

Hello everybody.
This week we have two away games, and I want to inform you about the bus schedule for these trips.

1. TUESDAY 8/29/17.

We play against the Lakeville South Cougars at Lakeville South High School. Maps of the games' sites can be found at the Big 9 website.

9A and JV teams play at 4:00 pm. They load their bus at door 6 at the High School at 1:15 pm and depart at 1:30 pm. The players return to door 6 at about 7:30 pm. Lunch should be eaten before 1:00 pm, and they should have a their packed prepared meals and fluids on the bus during their return trip.

Varsity plays at 5:00 pm, and the B Squad plays at 5:20 pm. Their bus loads at door 6 at 2:15 pm and leaves at 2:30 pm. Their expected return would be around 8:30 pm. Lunch should be eaten before 2:00 pm, and players should have their prepared meals and fluids on the bus during their return trip.

2. THURSDAY 8/31/17

NOTE FROM DR. ABBOUD re: 2017 TRYOUTS

1. Our tryouts will start on Monday August 14, 2017.

2. Our tryouts, preseason and season practices will all be held at the Mayo High School soccer fields.

3. The JV/B Squad, and C Squad tryouts, including the new 8th graders, will extend over a period of 2-4 days. All athletes will be notified of their selection and team assignments by Thursday August 17, 2017.

4. Varsity tryouts will be completed in 2 days, and varsity players will be notified of their selection by Wednesday 8/16/17 morning. No 8th graders will be allowed to participate in the varsity tryouts.

5. For organizational purposes, I need all athletes who wish to participate in the Varsity Tryouts to let me know of their intention by August 7, 2017. Write to me at Abboud.charles@yahoo.com

6. All 2017 9-11 grades athletes who tryout for varsity play will also need to participate in the JV/B Squad/C Squad Tryouts, unless specifically instructed not to do that by Dr. Abboud
