Hello Mayo Tennis Family,

We just concluded six weeks of the Mayo Doubles Camps, and I want to say thank you to all who participated. We had a record 48 players from the Mayo Boys(26) and Girls(22) that came out and improved their doubles game. We had a great time and the players worked very hard throughout all six weeks. A special thanks to the new boys captains(Daniel Meunier, Noah Wisniewski, and David Teng) who came out and participated. 

I encourage all of our players to continue to take lessons at one of the clubs, keep playing tournaments, and have fun!! To the all of the boys, we'll see you next spring and come out and cheer on our girls team this fall. 

To all the girls, REGISTRATION for this girls season is going on NOW. Please get signed up, so we can order uniforms by Aug 4th. The girls season starts Aug 14th.

2023 MAYO DOUBLES CAMP

Camp Philosophy: This camp is a great opportunity for any CURRENT or FUTURE(Going into 5th-12th Grade) Mayo Tennis Player(Boys or Girls) to improve their Doubles skills.

Camp Information: The camp will touch on all phases of the game of tennis, but a special emphasis will be given to the development of Doubles strategy and positioning. This camp is for most levels, including top varsity players to  intermediate players. This is not open to beginners or advanced beginners due to the fact that rallies need to take place in order to focus on doubles positioning.  To reserve your spot, you must retain your sign-up sheet with your payment. All the current Mayo Boys and Girls players are above the advanced beginner level and are able to participate. 

Dates and Times: The tennis camp will run for 6 weeks and will start June 12th. The camp will meet Monday through Thursday. Fridays are make-up days in case of rain.(*see below). 3:30-5:30pm at the Mayo High School Courts.

                All 6 weeks-$449.00

                Any 5 weeks=$399.00

                Any 4 weeks=$339.00

***Please bring your own water this year. I will NOT be bringing water for everybody to drink. 

In case of bad weather, please check the mayospartans.org website or text me at 993-4543. 

If it rains during the week, an extra day will be added on Friday. If it rains more than once during the week, I will stay until 6:30pm on Friday.

There is a limit of 28 players per week due to court space.

Mayo Boys Tennis Team Photos - Scheduled for May 4, 2023

d paulson Photography will be doing our team photos again this year and it will be online with the same ordering process as last year.  You will be able to view the photos before ordering and order at your convenience online or on your phone.  In addition, photos will be delivered directly to your home.  

THE FIRST THING THAT YOU NEED TO DO IS TEXT THE CODE MAYOTENNIS23 to 90738.  You will then get a text notification when the photos are uploaded to the gallery and ready to view and purchase

UNIFORM INFORMATION:

This year we are doing our mandatory T Shirt through Superior Screeners because BSN takes 6-7 weeks compared to Superior Screeners which takes 2-3 weeks. There is a T shirt for the year that is mandatory and costs $10. We are hoping to get all the payments in by the end of the day this Thursday the 14th so we can get the uniforms as soon as possible. To pay you can either pay with cash, check, or venmo. The check you can write it out to Finola O'sullivan. The Venmo option is @ofinola. You can also purchase a sweatshirt from superior screeners for $50 which is optional. We also are offering optional extra equipment through BSN but that will take longer.
